Stewart and James recently replaced our boiler and flushed the system and I couldn't be happier with the service. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual and clearly knowledgeable about their work.They communicated well throughout the entire process, taking the time to explain what they were doing and why. Their teamwork was seamless and their attention to detail really stood out. It was clear they took pride in doing the job right.Both were polite, well-mannered and respectful of our home. I have had Fosters heating service, and supply, my hydronic heating for approx 12 years now and they are fantastic. I trust them completely. They are kind, efficient, earnest and always do a thorough job. They really try all they can to get the best possible results for you and are considerate to making savings for me where they can. My last service technician was Josh who was incredibly knowledgeable. Don’t hesitate to use them!!!!

I have been the happy customer of Foster since 1998, they installed a quality system that has lasted all these years, their workmanship, attitude, tidiness and simple courtesy of all of their staff is especially refreshing. I have used them as well for servicing, modifying the system when I did an extension and other general maintenance. I recently needed their help removing a couple of panels so I could paint behind them and they turned up cheerfully at short notice, kept everything impeccably clean with a couple of outstanding tradesmen with little fuss or bother.It's so nice to deal with a good company and good people!

This organisation installed my hydronic heating panels in 2020. Since then I’ve had major issues including one 200cm x 80cm vertical hydronic panel fall off the wall resulting in damage to surrounding areas. An independent experts report found faulty installation in 7 of the 10 panels installed by Fosters Hydtonic Heating technicians. Zac Williams has refused to address the issues despite the significant safety risk and potential threat to human life. This has resulted in impending legal action. I would not recommend Fosters Hydronic Heating or any of their associated entities given the poor workmanship, safety risks and after care service.

We have had Foster Hydronic set up our 100 year old house in 2020 and 2024 with heating for renovations. Both times the staff were polite, highly professional and set the highest standard. Our house is great but very tricky. Nothing was too much for Foster whenever a challenge arose. We would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again for further renovations.

I am very disgusted with the customer service I received by this company. I was on the phone to the receptionist explaining what happened,when an extremely rude man got on the phone and asked me not to call them again and go else where.They have damaged my wood flooring by not repairing my heat panel leaks. I will never recommend this company to anyone

Very professional service and the team they had installing our system was very polite and informative on what they were doing. Jon designed our system for optimum heat so we are all set for Melbourne’s cold weather. The finished product looks amazing and works a treat.Thank you to the team for a great job.

I had Graham from Foster Heating come out and fix my underfloor heating with a $97 replacement part for my boiler. Prior to that, I spent $800 with another mob who quoted that I would need to spend another $3,200 to perform a power flush, etc. Also claimed this might not fix the boiler that would then need replacing (further $8,000 approx.). I am so glad the second mob was slack and didn't get reschedule right away. Graham and Foster Heating literally saved me thousands of dollars. Great company.

I called foster heating to get help with my boiler. Apparently they had serviced the house before and the tech man on the phone said the person who installed my unit was an absolute idiot, like it was my problem? I then asked if someone could come out and fix my issues. The tech man told me to fix it myself by filling it with water though I didn’t know how to do this he then went on to tell me to contact the person who installed it…... I hung up the phone called the company that installed it which they were a pool company and said they didn’t know anything about the boiler. So I called foster back and explained this to the same man who then told me it was absolute rubbish and made me feel like I was lying to him. when I asked to book in for a service knowing they couldn’t get to me for a while he told me he didn’t want to help and told me to take my business else where. I asked him what sort of authority he had in the company ? He then said I was rude and he told me he wouldn’t help me and to take my business elsewhere. I then hung up the phone and called another company in which they helped me immediately. I would never want to do business with foster and I’m glad I’ve paid... someone else good money for a service.read more

When it came time to update our 1960's home, we wanted Hydronic but thought it might be too costly. After getting a few quotes, we settled on Foster. We are so glad we did. Although Hydronic is not the cheapest up-front, it is absolutely the best and costs very little to run. It is silent and you quickly get used to being comfortable- all the time.Having a warm towel in the morning is a luxury I never knew I wanted. My teenage daughter, who is perennially feeling cold, has said she has never felt cold at home since we had Foster install the hydronic.

Foster Hydronic Heating, to start with, did excellent job 1.5years ago reinstating our hydronic heating in Mount Waverley place by replacing the original boiler with the modern Baxi one.Last week we had a very unlucky boiler issue (gas valve fault which is extremely rare for such a new and modern boiler). After I called Foster Hydronic Heating, they sent the technician next day who diagnosed the issue and made the valve replacement next business day and covered by warranty which is much appreciated.Thank you Fred and Graham!Kind regards Yuri

I was referred to Foster Hydronic Heating (Caulfield store) from a local hot water service company who weren't qualified enough to deal with a very old – around 40+ years – hydronic heating system at my mother's house. The boiler had seen better days and was chugging along on it's last legs.I'm very happy with the service from start to finish. I called and explained the situation on a Friday and within a few hours I was provided with a very detailed quote outlining all the bits and pieces required to replace the boiler with a modern set up. Then, after accepting the quote and paying the 30% deposit I was able to secure an installation date the next Wednesday.Dan – who has single handedly restored my faith in tradies – was excellent to deal with.Unlike a lot of other trades people I've had to deal with, he was very informative and kept me updated during the installation process seeing I couldn't be present during the installation, and my elderly mother wasn't capable of answering all questions.He, and his colleague, Jimmy, did an excellent job installing the system within a day. They even took away the old boiler!At one point it seemed like the boiler might have been... faulty and leaking but it was all fine in the end. Dan problem-solved the situation with the manufacturer and sorted it all out quickly. He he even came back the following morning just to make sure it was all ok.The outcome has been great so far. The radiators have never worked as well they do now. The ambient, radiant heat is so pleasant. .And, now that the hot water is separated from the heating system, the showers have excellent pressure and long-lasting hot water. i just have had hydronic installed in my massive home i just purchased, couldn’t be happier with the service foster provides i went into the showroom and even got offered a tea or coffee very kind and friendly staff i even saw a team member enjoying a donut upstairs!

Rang again the following week to follow-up and spoke to someone who I guess must have been in a bad mood. Just wanted to argue and didn't want the work. Going elsewhere and removing their contact details from our device.

I experienced some difficulties with my 10 year old Foster (Hydrotherm) system which was to be expected. Abe came out to assess and was brilliant. He then engaged Mat Brown to roll up the sleeves and deliver. He was professional, courteous, thorough, brilliant at his trade, and an unequivocal problem solver in a no doubt difficult fix situation. Could not recommend these 2 blokes highly enough.

I wish I had acted on the red flags when they first quoted and missed rooms off the house plan, twice. It has taken more than 18 months to finish the retrofitted part of the job which now has holes in the floor where they drilled in the wrong spot. I had to call them to ask if they could commission the slab months after the extension had been completed, as it was the beginning of winter and like an ice block. The slab has, and will forever have, cold spots where you stand at the kitchen bench, which the managing director tells me is our fault. I would get a call to tell me they would be installing the radiators the next day with no thought that we might be away or working and couldn't be there. Random radiator deliveries would turn up on our door of incorrect sizes and colours. After failing to get involved at any point in the 18 months prior, the managing director finally decided to return my call. He was dismissive and condescending. He talked over me with irrelevant topics such as our area having the worst technicians in the country and blamed me, his former staff - everyone but himself.

I have used Foster Hydronic in the past and the service was good. I have spoken to them on two occasions in the last month for a quote on a new boiler and both times never received the quote. I finally did get my quote, which was reasonable compared to other similar firms and the job was completed promptly and efficiently within a few days. Happy to recommend them.

We had our hydronic heating serviced 3mo ago and I showed the technician that some of the units were leaking rusty water onto the carpet and he said he would tighten the valves which he did. He didn’t seem to be very experienced. I paid for the service.The units were still leaking and I called the next week and I had a terrible conversation with the managing director. He kept trying to talk over me and was extremely condascending. He told me I had been told that the whole system needed to be flushed and it would cost $1500.00 - I had had no such communication. He also said that I had been sent a email re this which I did not receive. It was a very unprofessional phone call. I then engaged another company to do this work which I had been told by Foster Hydronic Heating would take 2 people half a day. The other company came and said this wasn’t necessary. They fixed the problem by changing some of the valves, checking the system and charged half the price. I had been very happy with Foster Hydronic Heating in the past but maybe they’re getting too big and don’t care about their customers anymore.

Excellent. You often judge a company by how they behave when things go wrong. They fitted a new boiler and within 1 month we had an issue, they came straight away and fixed it at no charge (sensor fault). Then we had a renovation and our electrician broke the thermostat. They came again next day and fixed this at cost. So glad I chose them and highly recommend them. Their engineers are so polite and knowledgeable too - lovely people!

Our boiler suddenly stopped working for our hydronic heating and Foster's were able to attend the next day.Sadly our old boiler was RIP but a new one was arranged which was able to be installed 4 days later.Dan the installer was great, super friendly, confirmed the time the day before, arrived on time and after install taught me how to program the new thermostat.Highly recommend Foster Hydronic Heating, from organising the initial call out, receiving information on the new boiler, all communications and the efficiency was great. Foster's did a retrofit of an older style hydronic system at my house recently. Dan, Chris, Jonathon, and the entire team were great - considerate, knowledgeable, tidy (cleaned up as they went along), and efficient. They managed a few unexpected challenges with persistence and intelligence. They were never patronising, explaining clearly as they went along. They cheerfully returned several times to trouble-shoot the retrofit, and spent substantial extra time testing and re-testing to make sure it was working properly. Thank you all very much!

Very disappointed. I have been a long term customer and the original hydronic heating was installed by them, as well as a new boiler a year ago and routine service. Had them out to take off radiators to allow repainting. Replaced radiators and did "service" for $600. I discovered one radiator was leaking and phoned to get it fixed urgently as new carpet was being installed. Was told first available time was in 3 days, despite the problem being caused by them. Service manager told me it was then or nothing. Asked to speak to owner and was told he was on holiday. I'll never risk this lot again.

Our latest contact with Fosters Heating was the installation of a new system. The work was done expertly. We can't speak too highly of Foster Heating. We've been dealing with the firm for about 27 years and have always found them reliable, friendly and technically competent. Their prices are not high and we know they will fix any part of the hydronic system that needs fixing. Highly recommended. Ken and Christine.

Not cheap but good value... a very professional installation team (Jimmy, Dan) successfully replaced existing Fitzroy boiler and manifold in restricted space, with a minimum of collateral damage. Great attention to detail. work ethics, sense of humour!

We love our hydronic heating but when we had our boiler play up it could be a costly repair.The very experienced service team reviewed, after a visit and a conversation with the service manager, they quickly established it was not my boiler but my gas valve.Gas supplier fitted a new one within 5hrs, another great surprise! And my boiler was working perfectly again.. So very grateful.

Had the pleasure of having Mark and Harley work with us on the final installation of the Hydronic panels - the work was fantastic as was the way the accommodated our questions and minor tweak in a gracious manner. Also gave great a intro to the system and the best way to operate it. Also kudos to the other team members from Foster that cam in the earlier stages - all very engaging , respectful and gracious. Two main call-outs and thanks in writing this review:1) The rough-in team did an excellent job in a somewhat tricky building. A special thanks to Craig and the team for working so hard to install the system with minimal impact to our home.2)The system was finalized by Matt today, installing all of the panels, boiler etc. He also did a great job.All of the hydronic engineers have been great: good communicators, polite, focused, very neat work and leave a tidy site on departure.

From Fred at the office, who really went above and beyond to assist us in moving mountains to get us a time for someone to come out a time, through to Mark who came out and installed panels and serviced our unit. When we need to upgrade our system, I would only call these guys. Very happy.

I have had a brilliant experience with Foster Hydronic Heating. I had had issues with a hydronic unit we installed in the slab of a new extension however after excellent service from the Foster Hydronic Heating team in Canberra all is working perfectly and we are very comfortable. Paul didn’t give up even when the day seemed to be against him. Paul (the Scot!) from Foster Hydronic turned up to our house in Canberra and got our system back to working in about 1 hour.He knows his stuff and was very friendly. It was bitterly cold outside at the end of the day and Paul had been working since 6.30am. I brought him a cup of tea and he was happy to discuss the heating system. I am very happy and recommend Foster Hydronic and in particular Paul.

We had Harley and Nathan install our hydronic system last week and could not had a more positive experience. They were respectful (especially of our muddy outdoors work site- removing shoes every time they entered), polite, informative in explaining the working of the system, efficient and thorough. Great service - 12-24 months ago got boiler serviced and tech said would put details on files as unit was on its last legs. Put an online request for a quote to replace unit last week . The very next morning got a phone call and the Rep had found all the previous details. He went through the options with me. A quote came through about an hour later all too easy. Yesterday the 3 techs turned up - on time, friendly, well presented, great safety awareness, did the job, neat tidy, great clean up, no fuss. They ran through the job with me, went through all the safety/ services they needed to access and then it "just" happened. All done first time as they said they would - might sound strange but in this day and age this is not that common and a great and pleasant surprise.

I recently had a combined HWS and Central Heating system boiler changeover (replacing a 40 yr old system - installed by Foster Heating) - very impressed by the knowledge/teamwork of the guys who turned up to do the work - it was not an easy job - some minor commissioning issues - promptly attended to - all good - happy.

I’ve never written a Google review before, but in this instance a 5 star review was necessary!I had a tricky issue with my boiler (installed by Foster Hydronic Heating back in 2016), and from the very first service with Adrian, and then Graham, the Foster team was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Fred in particular went above and beyond to help me out and ensure the issue was rectified promptly and as a matter of his priority. Fred showed great kindness, and I am exceptionally grateful. I can not recommend Foster highly enough.

Despite an unexpected complication (concrete slab under the bathroom) they managed to finish the job on time. We are thrilled with our Hydronic Heating installation.Craig and Jordan were an outstanding team and the best tradies I've ever have to deal with.They were professional, courteous and highly knowledgeable. They would discuss each part of the installation to make sure that they reached the best and most practical outcome including, pipework, location of radiators and boiler unit, aesthetics, and overall user satisfaction with their progress while also maintained a very clear working environmentCraig and Jordan also engaged with our dogs and the kids asking heaps of questions.They are by far two of the best tradies I've had the pleasure of meeting.Well done guys!

Completely incompetent.I waited all morning for a confirmed 8am appointment, at 11:30 I finally got through to someone who told me there's no record of my job at all and no-one is scheduled to come over.Their Geelong team was helpful though.

A special, heart felt THANK YOU to DAN, who literally saved our Easter holiday by coming in on Easter Saturday to replace our old boiler and thermostat. He was punctual, fast, efficient, courteous. He did a sterling job and explained everything in a manner that even a non-technical person like me could immediately grasp. Foster Hydronic Heating have always been there for us when we needed them! Big tick!

I had a great chat on the phone about a system designed and built by another company. We booked an appointment and Paul drove out to our remote location.Paul methodically reviewed our system and explained the various components and settings. Paul made some adjustments and we saw an instant improvement. Great service.Thanks Paul, Andy and team.

We had our hydronic system installed in June. The installation team were really nice and they were professional and efficient in the installation. We recently had Adrian come out for a service call and his knowledge and expertise was outstanding. He gave us a thorough understanding of how the hydronic unit works and now we feel very comfortable in problem solving should anything go wrong. Thanks Adrian, you are a very valuable asset to Foster Heating!

We recently had Foster Hydronics urgently replace an old boiler at our terrace house in Carlton. The service was absolutely first class. Ronnie, the installation technician, arrived on-time and well-prepared. He was a very pleasant and accommodating young man and his approach reflects very well on the company. And the end result is first class. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing experience with Foster Heating. Super efficient response time for quote, then supply and install. Couldn't speak more highly of the whole experience but especially our great installation guys RICH & RON🤗 What delightful lads - fun, respectful and did an awesome job... despite throwing a couple of curveballs their way!
